Council
Leader Information
Top Shot teams will be based on 10 members. Each team member will do two events. Again if you have more or less than 10 team members you will have to determine who does the extra events – but no team member can do more than 1 extra event than the other team members. Example: If you have 7 team members, 6 team members will do 3 events and 1 team member will do 2 events. If you have more than 13 scouts make two teams. That way each scout will be able to do 2 or more events.
All shooting equipment, ammunition, and supplies will be furnished by the camping committee. NO PERSONAL FIREARMS, ARCHERY EQUIPMENT OR AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE CAMPOREE.
Event Rotation – Teams will be assigned a starting point – Please follow your rotation schedule on the map you will be given at registration. We want to try and avoid teams having to wait at events. After Lunch continue where you left off before lunch. Do not go to an unassigned event!
Enclosed in this packet is a Permission to Shoot Form. Each scout participating in this event must have this signed by their parent or guardian. Scouts without their parents’ signature will be crossed off the Team Roster. There will be no exception to this rule.
Volunteers Needed – Due to the type of event and the large number of events at this camporee we will need each unit to provide one volunteers to man stations. We want to make sure all participants will be safe; the extra volunteers will ensure that this happens. List the names and numbers of the adults from your unit that will help at the event on the registration form. Without an adequate number of leaders we will have to cancel some event. Let’s make sure this is a fun and safe day.
Vehicles – Please remember that no vehicles will be allowed to park in the camping and program areas at any time during the camporee. Those units that are camping will be allowed 1 vehicle to bring gear to their site but must be removed after unloading.
